Sibi Soumahoro, hailing from the Ivory Coast to the professional tennis circuit. Pursuing ATP success while making history.

About

Picked up a racket at age 7 in Ivory Coast, and within months, my coach saw a natural talent. By 11, I dominated national rankings, holding the top spot in multiple junior categories. Coming from a place with limited resources, I had to win tournaments just to earn equipment. This fueled my dream to be the first Ivorian in the ATP Top 100 and, one day, a become a contender for the Grand Slams. My journey took me from Ivory Coast to the U.S., earning a scholarship at the John McEnroe Academy, then training at the JTCC alongside Frances Tiafoe. Now based in Miami Beach, I’ve hit with top pros like Sinner, Arthur Fils, Opelka, Vacherot and Rybakina. But my ultimate goal is bigger. Breaking barriers and marking history and inspiring the next generation back home.
